Volunteer work - an opportunity to serve
Get involved volunteering from day one in Xela. We have no minimum time commitment, and Kamalbe is always accepting volunteers. You don’t have to be enrolled in the school to participate. Depending on the needs at the time, we will work with you to make a volunteer plan. we are genuinely thankful for all volunteers who choose to help us.
The work itself
Our programs are mostly concentrated in education so that they support and enrich the education offered by the local school. Volunteers will work with the community, participate and create volunteer projects and workshops of different themes, depending on their educational or professional background. The most popular activity involved teaching classes to women and children. Volunteers interested in teaching will create their own lesson plans and collaborate with Kamalbe to ensure the success of the lessons and make sure they are culturally appropriate.

Requirements:
There are no specific qualifications required to join our volunteer programs. We will provide any necessary orientation and training to perform volunteer activities adequately.
Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Spanish is preferred. If you cannot speak Spanish, we recommend enrolling in our Spanish Language Studies program, which can run simultaneous to your volunteer project.
