Kamalbe Spanish School
Hello!
My name is David. I am the founder of the Kamalbe School in Xela, Guatemala. We are a small independent Spanish school, certified by the Guatemalan Ministry of Education, in the center of Xela, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Founded in 2005, Kamalbe Spanish School was created to provide good quality spanish lesson, to provide volunteering options in Quetzatelnango, while dedicating time and money to help local communities to gain access to education and social services. Warm regards, David Kamalbe Mission: Supporting communities in the west Highlands of Guatemala through programs that provide equal access to both education and health. The word “kamalbe” comes from the K'iche, that is traditionally spoken by the indigenous Mayan people living in and near Xela. In K'iche “kamalbe” roughly translates to “guide of the road”.
